And when they came for the Goose, there was no one left to protest

these folks are really getting up my sleeve

Please, write your socialist ninnyhammers fascist bassturds representatives and protest the NAIS [national animal identification system] to be included in the [pork-flavored ironing] Farm Bill.

Every person who owns even one horse, cow, pig, chicken, sheep, goat, deer, elk, bison, or virtually any livestock animal, will be forced to register their home, including owner’s name, address, and telephone number, and keyed to Global Positioning System coordinates, in a government database under a 7-digit “premises ID number.” (Standards, pp. 3-4, 10-12; Plan, p. 5.) Additionally, pet owners who own one parakeet, canary, cockatiel, etc. as owners of “exotic fowl” have been targeted for mandatory inclusion in this system

...There are no exceptions.

Animals will be ‘chipped’ with RFIDs—wholly hackable.  If you take the hossie on a trail ride or your heffer to the fair, you must report it to the gubbmint within 24 hours.

Feed and raising requirements are already regulated by law.  Cattle are currently branded, tagged or tattooed and woe be unto he who moves a cow without the accompanying ownership papers.  The present requirements are sufficient against theft and the [lame-o] MSM plus the neighborhood feed store grapevine are more than adequate to spread the word about possible diseases.

This is clearly yet another move against the small farmer, orgaaaanic growers and those of us who just want to be left the hell alone.  Riparian Corridors, Biotic Habitats and “special status” species, monitored wells, metered surface water, rainwater collection prohibition, Greenbelts, farming ‘nuisance’ regulations, zoning prohibitions—all the blundering bullshiite is about the same dam thing:  “get the hell offa The Land and into your 800 sq ft cell in your ‘walkable’ comuuuunity near your ‘smart’ public transit.” ie; Siddown, Shaddap and be Governable.

Ain’t.  Gonna.  Do It.

Tell Congress to leave us all the hell alone.  Rover and Tigger will be next.

  1. Oh heck.. You can’t let them congresscritters alone for a minute but that they go do something so darn-fool stupid.

Wait up a minute!  It says here that Congress didn’t have anything to do with it. It’s just some morons in USDA getting uppity.

I just looked at the NAIS site - they say over and over that it’s voluntary.  They do say in the finr print “for now”, but that ain’t here yet.
