The Smoking Gun OCTOBER 5--Two days after landing on probation for walking out of the National Archives with classified documents, former national security adviser Sandy Berger was rung up in Virginia for reckless driving. While only a misdemeanor, the September 10 incident amounts to a probation violation that could land Berger in a federal lockup for three to nine months, according to “revocation guidelines” cited in the below memo.
