Toaddy Kennedy:  Their money sits in the Social Security Administration waiting to be matched with an eligible beneficiary, and once those workers establish the eligibility, how in all fairness can we deny them the credit for their past contributions?

Coming from a fella who has never once met an actual consequence of his choices, that might make sense.  OTOH, some of us are juuuust old fashioned and mean enough to think that folks oughtn’t profit from illegal behaviors.

[Random Thought:  yanno—I never converse with the Social Security Admin.  For all I know someone could be using my number.  Who’s gonna get my those SS benefits?]

  1. So Kennedy supports identity theft?  That’s how these aliens managed to pay into social security.

And in my first mention in one of the “big” blogs, since LBJ folded SSA into the general fund, not dime of SSA witholding has sat for a minute—it’s spent on things like Alaska’s bridge to nowhere, and that Trent Lott’s pet project.
