But that would be silly, now. I had to show a birth certificate to get it, too. [long, long ago] But my friend said she didn't have to as she traded in her NY license. More useless plastic in my wallet . . . UPDATE: Xrlq has more on the whole sorry story. As in: the whole "they ought to be qualified to drive" thingie, foolish as it was on its face, was a big red herring as SB 60 covers CA State IDs, too!!! Greyge, ya wonder why we're hurtin' yer widdle feelings and recalling you? You're a maroon!
