A pebble on the *other* side of the scale
I heard about this outfit on the raaadio this am. Move America Forward.com seems like a non-moonbat version of M0ve 0n. Their opening:Are you tired of the constant stream of America-bashing from the shamelessly liberal news media and left-wing politicians who use every negative news story to launch a political attack against our military and our commander in chief? Then join with the millions of Americans who are uniting to “Move America Forward” to win the War on Terrorism. . . . Each day there are thousands of positive things U.S. Troops are doing to better the lives of the people of Afghanistan and Iraq and to make this world a safer place. We are winning the war on terrorism.
It sounds pretty good. Articulate and pushes all the right buttons. It is headed by Howard Kaloogian, Chairman, Move America Forward. He ran against Babbs "the Box-cutter" Boxer for CA Senator but lost to Bill Jones, and seems to be a good, ol' fashioned conservative who quoted Reagan before it became all the rage.
Interesting site -- we'll see what he does with it.
A key item on this site is a campaign to "take action against the release" of MMoore's Fathead-911 flick. Personally, I think the best course of action is to give Mmoorree as much exposure as possible -- *along with* the facts he twists, maligns and just plain ignores. Let the meathead tear himself down with his own big, fat, bs-filled mouth.
For instance, I found these quotes on the Stop F-911 page:

...just what the heck is a moonbat anyway? I had never noticed the term prior to the cereal box with Al Gore’s screaming mug on there. Now the entire blogosphere (that aren’t moonbats) are using the term.

Posted by Claire on 06/16/04 at 07:23 AMYeah, I heard about it too. It’s a front organization for Russo Marsh and Rogers (RMR), a political PR firm that does all its work for the Repugs. As a so-called ‘grassroots campaign’, it’s more phoney than a telephone store.
Unfortunately for Russo and co (and I suspect for George W), their pathetic efforts to disguise the true nature of the operation fell at the first hurdle. Despite not mentioning the fact that RMR was running the whole show anywhere on Move America Forward’s website (wonder why), they registered its internet address in their name. Then, when that was exposed, they changed the registration info straightaway to remove RMR’s details. Pathetic. But typically stupid Repug tactics.
