Traitorous Fatast Dipstick Nabbed UPDATED: Not so much...

now what?

For some folk, it’s just a cryin’ shame they couldn’t get hit by a bus....

Adam Gadahn, an American spokesman for al Qaeda, has been arrested in Pakistan, a senior Pakistani government official source told CNN.

Still, I call the 48 hour rule on this one…

image

If true, though, the timing is an iron.

In his video message posted online Sunday, Gadahn says…

“I believe that defiant Brother Nidal is the ideal role model for every repentant Muslim in the armies of the unbelievers and apostate regimes,” ...

“The Mujahid brother Nidal Hasan is a pioneer, a trailblazer and a role model who has opened a door, lit a path and shown the way forward for every Muslim who finds himself among the unbelievers and yearns to discharge his duty to Allah and play a part in the defense of Islam and Muslims.” ...

“It is rapidly becoming clear that this already hot global battle is about to get even hotter,” he says. “This is a war which knows no international borders and no single battleground, and that’s why I am calling on every honest and vigilant Muslim in the countries of the Zionist-Crusader alliance in general and America, Britain and Israel in particular to prepare to play his due role in responding to and repelling the aggression of the enemies of Islam."

Gadahn, 31, is the first American since the World War II era to be charged with treason. In 2006, a federal grand jury in Orange County indicted him for allegedly providing material support to Al Qaeda by appearing in videos on five different occasions between Oct. 27, 2004, and Sept. 11, 2006, with the intent “to betray the United States,"

Yeah—that’s what I wanna hear all summer… This dork shooting off his fat face to the press.

[Yanno… I woulda thought running up and down mountains from cave to cave might be, oh, I dunno, slimming?

Just shows ya how wrong ya can be...]

CBS News’ Farhan Bokhari in Islamabad writes that earlier reports the detained individual was Gadahn proved false. According to a Pakistan security official who spoke with CBS News on condition of anonymity, the arrested individual is in fact “a Taliban militant leader who is known as Abu Yahya."

rly?

because being economically tied to the ChiComs and the WU has worked out so well...

(Reuters) - - The White House on Friday announced a “summit on entrepreneurship” to build economic ties with the Islamic world, part of President Barack Obama’s outreach to Muslims.

The White House said it has invited participants from more than 40 countries over five continents for the April 26-27 conference in Washington.

WTF, People?!?

a step mile too far

John Patrick Bedell was a troubled man with a mental illness.  It was tragic that he did not get help—or restraint—before he endangered others and got himself killed.

But this endless questing for his motives —as though he were rational—is moronic.  Even more sickening is the rush to smear entire segments of the population with his acts, simply because of some of his statements, is becoming ludicrous.

The man was mentally ill.  Period.  That’s all we need to know about his “motivations.” That’s all we can know about his motivations.  Because that’s what ‘mentally ill’ means:  others cannot understand the internal logic of his thoughts, world view, or reasoning.

I heard a quote from Bedell over and over on the news, today.  Remember - they’re quoting “the internet rant” of a man who just tried to shoot up the Pentagon in the least well-thought-out, least effective “attack” in, well, ever.  The quote they chose was not some 911-Trooother rant, nothing about da gubbmint spying on his brain, but a quiet, reasonable discussion of how private property rights are the basis of freedom in this country.  What a nut bucket, eh?

Why choose that “fringe” quote?  Yeah.  You know as well as I do.

PANNA COTTA

taste treat - texture treat

6 tablespoons cold milk
1.5 packets powdered gelatin [can use 2 full packets if you like it firm]

5 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
pinch salt
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Optional:  1/4 C +/- 2T ScharffenBerger cocoa
and/or: any kind of berries or fruit

-

1. Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold milk in a bowl and let stand 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Heat the heavy cream, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Do NOT allow to boil.  Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.  [now is the time to add the cocoa, if desired.  and whayinhell not?!?  put cocoa in cup/small bowl and add about 1/8C of warm cream mixture.  stir like mad with fork to make mixture smooooth, then add to rest of cream mixture.]

3. Pour the very warm Panna Cotta mixture over the gelatin and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Let stand until barely warm.  [now is the time to add any fruit you want mixed in.  I like it best reserved for serving over top.  This is a texture treat as well as a taste treat.]

5. Divide the Panna Cotta mixture into martini glasses/wine glasses/demitasse cups/dang near anything pretty [demitasse spoons go with perfectly], then chill them until firm, which will take at least two to four hours.

Can be made the day before.

so proud… so confident...

David Miller, [Sen. Pat Wiggins’ [Dumbass] Santa Rosa] press aide, declined comment Thursday, but told the Sacramento Bee that it’s not “a secret that she (Wiggins) has a medical condition for which she’s being treated.”

Miller added that the condition “does not affect her ability to do her job as a senator. But it can make her irritable, and when she’s irritable, she lets it be known.”

A California state senator [Sen. Roy Ashburn [R] Bakersfield] who reportedly has voted against every gay rights measure since he took office eight years ago was charged with driving under the influence [0.14] on Wednesday, reportedly after leaving a gay nightclub [Faces] in Sacramento.

Last summer an editor heard that a Sacramento publication with a gay audience might “out” state Sen. Roy Ashburn as being gay.

So I called Ashburn and asked him flat-out: “Are you gay?”

His response: “Why would that be anyone’s business? Including The Californian’s?

“I think there are certain subjects that are simply not relevant and this is one of them. It has no bearing on the job I do."

It must be tough when just about everything anybody says about you is prefaced with the words “disgraced former assemblyman.” But that’s what Mike Duvall lives with every day. ... is benefiting from being away from the non-stop Sacramento smorgasbord provided courtesy of all those lobbyists.

..."hot mike” ... “set-up” by an aide and other assemblymen ...

[newly appointed] Assembly Speaker John Pérez [40, a cousin of L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa] ... his years as an executive with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union ... Pérez carved a lucrative exception into state law for billionaire developer Philip Anschutz. He also introduced a bill at the request of Enterprise Car Rental that would have helped boost the company’s bottom line by stripping away a significant consumer protection…

Pérez voted to give millions in government subsidies to a giant real estate firm that contributed heavily to his union’s political fund ... one step short of payola ... “In retrospect, yeah, I would have asked questions,” Pérez said ...

Pérez said there was no connection between his votes and the contributions, adding that he didn’t “know ...

[Perez’] vote in 2005 to let CIM install “supergraphic” signs on Sunset Boulevard…

Grubby Grabbers

Hands OFF!

I understand why they didn’t—but I regret that the Founding Fathers didn’t use the phrase “Life, Liberty and Private Property.”

By Sen. Jim DeMint

You’d think the Obama administration is busy enough controlling the banks, insurance companies and automakers, but thanks to whistleblowers at the Department of the Interior, we now learn they’re planning to increase their control over energy-rich land in the West.

A secret administration memo has surfaced revealing plans for the federal government to seize more than 10 million acres from Montana to New Mexico, ...

President Obama could enact the plans in this memo with just the stroke of a pen, without any input from the communities affected by it.

How’s that “transparency and accountability” workin’ out for ya?

...national unemployment rate is 9.7 percent… looking to stop job-creating energy enterprises…

The 21-page document, marked “Internal Draft-NOT FOR RELEASE,” names 14 different lands Mr. Obama could completely close for development by unilaterally designating them as “monuments” under the 1906 Antiquities Act.

...One of the monuments President Clinton created was the Grande Staircase-Escalante in Utah, where 135,000 acres of land were leased for oil and gas and about 65,000 barrels of oil were produced each year from five active wells.  ...

Clinton ended that.  “Energy Independence” whassat?!?

...in Colorado, the government is considering designating the Vermillion Basin as a monument because it is “currently under the threat of oil and gas development."

Teh iWon will end that.  “Energy Independence” whassat?!?

Americans should be wary of any plans a president has to seize land from the states without their consent. Any new plans to take away states’ freedom to use land as they see fit must be stopped.

That’s why I sponsored an amendment to block Mr. Obama from declaring any of the 14 lands listed in the memo as “monuments.” Unfortunately, the Senate, led by Democrats, rejected it on Thursday evening by a vote of 58-38.

It was particularly disappointing that the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, of Nevada, voted against the amendment. The government owns more than 80 percent of the land in Nevada and the unemployment rate there is 12.8 percent.

The interesting thing is the checkerboard effect:  the BLM owns every other section in vast areas of NV, prohibiting any private ownership of parcels larger than a section [640 acres] in a place where one grazing cow can require up to 20 acres to sustain it.  It’s a passive limit on business creation and food production.  [The hassle to graze on BLM land is unimaginable.  The Federal Gubbmint does not make a good neighbor.]

Where the Federal Gubbmint gets the idea that removing land from private ownership is useful—in any way—is beyond me.  Ok—so it’s the Watermelon ECO-movement and the World Gubbmint Socialist Unions that push for reduced private ownership of lands—along with private ownership of handguns and other self-defensive items.  How impossible would it be to take over a country wherein there is an armed citizen behind every blade of grass defending what he knows to be his own property?  Whereas a city full of apartment hamsters and cubicle monkeys would barely notice the change.

image

The Democratic Congress refused to stop it, but one sure way Americans could help block it is if they decide some Democrats should lose their jobs on November.

First Steps

buh bye

"Obviously, he can’t be feeling very good about it,” [Manhattan Democratic Chairman Keith Wright] said of Rangel’s ceding of the chairmanship - a move the congressman said he made to spare his fellow Democrats from having to defend him ...

“I don’t know; I don’t know,” Wright responded when I asked if Rangel will be seeking re-election this fall.

Well, he always has his “investments” to fall back on…

We Can’t Wish Away Climate Change—By AL GORE Published: February 27, 2010

It would be an enormous relief if the recent attacks on the science of global warming actually indicated that we do not face an unimaginable calamity requiring large-scale, preventive measures to protect human civilization as we know it.

Why, yes—it is.

But what a burden would be lifted! We would no longer have to worry that our grandchildren would one day look back on us as a criminal generation that had selfishly and blithely ignored clear warnings that their fate was in our hands.

hm… look.  There’s slurs all over the floor.

I, for one, genuinely wish that the climate crisis were an illusion.

But how, then, would you make further billions of dollars?  Not like you have an actual, yanno, skill set or anything…

But unfortunately, the reality of the danger we are courting has not been changed by the discovery of at least two mistakes in the thousands of pages of careful scientific work over the last 22 years by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

“At least two”?!?  Like: “temperatures haven’t changed” and “we used comments by random hikers and high skool students as though they were actually scientific work”?!?  yeah… Those two alone are enough to cause painful hysterical laughter in a mildly retarded hamster.

image

In fact, the crisis is still growing because we are continuing to dump 90 million tons of global-warming pollution every 24 hours into the atmosphere — as if it were an open sewer.

And worry about it as if it were a closed system.

...But the scientific enterprise will never be completely free of mistakes.  ... difficult to identify and interpret ...

Bla bla bla—for three freakin’ pages!  Aw, Al—Hang. It. Up. fella.  A good competent still healthy snakeoil salesman knows when it’s time to strike the set, hitch the horses and get the hell outta town—before the rubes and marks catch on and pay ya a visit.

How'd I miss this?!?

the Lies Teh Narrative—it grows

Wonder how long before Teh iWon et al expect us to believe crap like this?

Citing an alleged report from Russia’s Northern Fleet, the Venezuelan strongman’s fascist dork’s state mouthpiece ViVe TV shot out a press release saying the 7.0 magnitude Haiti quake was caused by a U.S. test of an experimental shockwave system that can also create “weather anomalies to cause floods, droughts and hurricanes."

Wow.  Anyone told Algore?

What’s more, the site says, the cataclysmic ruin in Haiti was only a test run for much bigger game: the coming showdown with Iran.

The ultimate goal of the test attack in Haiti, the report reads, is the United States’ “planned destruction of Iran through a series of earthquakes designed to topple the current Islamic regime."
