TODAY's Raaaaacist Post
right from the raacist’s ..erm, email
. . . 2217 .... This is the number [of residents of San Bernardino CA] that signed a racist initiative
that word, again…
that will essentially and indirectly evict, from the city, undocumented immigrants,
that word, too…
mostly from Mexico.
ahh? But not all from Mexico. So it applies equally to illegal aliens from Jordan and Canada? And that’s raaacist, how?
The initiative, if it becomes law, either through City Council approval or a city wide vote, would, among other things, criminalize and fine any landlord that rents to an undocumented immigrant.
The mean spirited
oh. puh. leeze. And it’s hard-hearted of me to resist a carjacking cuz that poooor fella needs my car and pocketbook more than I do. Like it matches his shoes…
anti-immigrant
*gah*
initiative has been filed with the City Clerk and now the City Council must approved it or put it to a city wide referendum.
Yeah. Let’s see what the citizens [yanno—legal residents participating in self-governance] have to say on the matter.
The seven member City Council will consider the initiative on Monday May 15, 2006 at 3;00 PM in a meeting that will be attended by a large number of pro-immigrant right
Illegal aliens don’t have these rights. They have the right to be held accountable to the law. They have the right to be treated humanely—but like law-breakers.
groups. In a National Alliance for Human Rights (NAHR) meeting last night in Riverside, the group vowed to defeat the initiative. Professor Armando Navarro, National Coordinator of NAHR, personally pledged a massive effort to defeat the measure. Dr. Navarro said, “San Bernardino will see a mobilization like never in its history.” He added, “This is going to be our Montgomery for the new civil-rights movement ."
They got this “civil rights” idea from Teddy the Swimmer, didn’t they?
[The initiative also targets] day laborers or “jornaleros” that seek work at hardware stores like Home Depots. The initiative will empower the city police to confiscate the vehicles of anyone picking up for work a day laborer.
alrighty thenn… The state stealing one’s car/truck. NOT. Howzaboudda fine or citation or ticket or arrest or sumpthin’. Leave folks’ property alone.
The measure will in addition punish any business that aids undocumented immigrants and attempts to establish an “English Only” law in the city.
Now there’s an idea. Though Home Depot would hafta re-paint alla their signs; aisle signs, department signs, product signs, price signs, restroom signs…
Though the measure will probably be declared unconstitutional if passed
It’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL to follow the law.... Hokayfiiine....
, a dim possibility where over 50% of the 200,000 population is Latino,
Y’all do know that legal residents of Mexican heritage are the least likely to be on your side, doncha?
it must never-the-less be totally smashed at the bud
Nice metaphor.
to send out a clear message to all xenophobes, nativists, bigots and racists.
There it is—that thing Gov. Love [CO] talked about years ago: the magic words that shut down all discussion.
Monday, May 15, 2006 will be a day like no other in the history of the city. It will be the first skirmish in “The Battle of San Bernardino”.
Anyone live in the neighborhood and want to do a little reportage? Pics would be a treat for all…

Siddown for this one, y'all
and might as well wrap yer head in duck tape while yer at it
According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups ...
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed the notification process, describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants’ rights are being observed.
“Migrants” RIGHTS: The government of the United States of America is actively working to assure the rights of foreign nationals to break the laws of the United States of America.
Mario Martinez said Monday.
“This ... simply makes two basic statements—that we will not allow any lawlessness of any type,
Unless it’s the lawlessness of 1] foreign nationals ignoring the laws and sovereignty of the USA, 2] Federalés crossing into US Territory in support of the Drug Cartels 3] the operation of the Drug Cartels, themselves. Other than that—“we will not allow any lawlessness!”
and that if an alien is encountered by a Minuteman or arrested by the Minuteman, then we will allow that government to interview the person."
“Interview” Code for what?
"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time,” said Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. “It’s unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They are sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels.
They just basically endangered the lives of American people."
“just basically” my Aunt Fanny! That is flat out endangering the lives of American citizens in favor of a corrupt foreign government.
If our President fails to get up on his hind legs and 1]disavow and 2] immediately correct this situation, I’m joining the Moonbats’ Impeachment Chant. This actually is an impeachable offense. Damned near seditious and treasonous as well.
"Last year an internal memo notified all agents not to give credit to Minuteman volunteers or others who call in sightings of illegal aliens,” said one agent, who spoke on the condition he not be identified. “We were told to list it as a citizen call and leave it at that. Many times, we were told not to go out to Minuteman calls."
Somewhere along the line, We, the People seem to have lost our grip on governance by, of, and for The People.

McDonald's: the new Marlboro
Waddid I Tell Ya?
...The reason, in part, say multiple high-ranking sources, is the family-friendly entertainment giant wants to distance itself from fast food—and its links to the epidemic of childhood obesity.
Disney’s not the only studio that thinks french fries loaded with trans fats may be too hot to handle.
Unsubstantiated Faktoid of the Day: Someone just told me that one third of all the toys sold in the US are sold through McDonalds.

On. F'n. Fire.
Ace is the Place...
It’s the definition of civilization and the human social contract: “you favor me over [other species], so, in return, I will favor you” and thus we will keep our species going. “You favor me over [people from other tribes /nations], so, in return, I will favor you” and thus we will keep our own family going.
Without that, there is no point to community—there is no community.
And while these peacocks strut about to show off the pretty feathers of their “enlightened morality,” men of real morals and genuine courage are… dying in order to protect them.
Bonus Phrase of the Week: “...they fetishize their own ‘enlightenment’ ...”

Fairness in Blogging
and not the Hillary/NewSpeak “Fairness” Doctrine type either
As you may recall, I emailed Tyson foods upon learning from TUA that they were gonna close plants for Illegal Alien Day, May 1. I received the following in response.
Reprinted in whole:
FROM: gary.mickelson@tyson.com
Thank you for your message. Most of the more than 100 plants owned by Tyson Foods were in operation Monday. For business reasons, we closed about a dozen plants. Rather than experience a disruption in business due to the absence of workers, we opted to close certain plants and make up for the loss of production by shifting production to Saturday at some locations. We did not encourage workers to participate in the rallies.
Seems as though you didn’t discourage ‘em. The phrase “Show up, provide a doctor’s note or You’re Fired” springs to my mind....
Contrary to what you may have heard, Tyson Foods has zero tolerance for employing people who are not authorized to work in the U.S. We use all available tools provided by the U.S. government to help verify the documents of the people we hire.
Tyson voluntarily participates in the Department of Homeland Security’s Basic Pilot program,
Participation is not mandatory? Interesting information.
which allows us access to government databases that assist in the documentation authentication process. We train our hiring managers on proper employment documentation procedure and work to increase their awareness of identification and documentation fraud. We regularly audit our hiring process including work authorization documents and also use an independent, outside company, which conducts its own audit of our hiring practices.
The Basic Pilot is effective in helping us verify the Social Security numbers of the people we hire. Unfortunately, the program has limitations. It does not currently help us in cases of identity fraud when an individual assumes someone else’s name by using their Social Security number. This is another reason we support efforts to reform immigration law. If the government is going to continue place employers in the role of policing who has proper work documentation, then it should give companies more tools to do the job.
I am in complete agreement with that last. The system is fully broken and needs revamping At Once!
My email to Tyson Foods:
I understand that Tyson Foods plans to close some packing plants in support of the May 1 Boycott Against America?
I wished to check directly with you as to the truth of this information. If it is indeed so, I plan to never buy another product from your company.
I understand that your product line is quite diverse, so it will take some research and work to accomplish never buying another product from Tyson Foods, but it is an effort I am more than willing to make. I do not do business with anyone who does not support and uphold the laws of the United States.
Kindly let me know if my information is correct at your earliest possible convenience.
Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

erm... question?
Run it by me one more time, Mr clooney...
Why are the Darfurrians [Darfurantes? Darfurinos?] more worth ‘saving’ than the Iraqis?

Something we can get behind!
who’s car pooling?!?
WASHINGTON, May 2, 2006 - Most Soldiers know him as “Lt. Dan.” CSI: New York actor Gary Sinise has taken that label to heart as he leads the Lt. Dan Band, a rock group he uses to support and entertain service members around the world.
Sinise and his band will perform in the Pentagon’s center courtyard at 12:30 p.m. May 5. The band’s performance is part of an “America Supports You” salute to the troops in May’s Military Appreciation Month.

ILLEGAL ALIEN SOCIALIST WORKERS' TANTRUM DAY
aka “Mow Your Own Lawn Day"
Welcome to the Parade of Useful Fools We Demand Day in Santa Rosa CA. [your intrepid reporter willing to brave all and travel afar - bringing the faktoids to you]
Better than....
...
Gen-yew-wine Azteca dress complete with body make-up!
...
Iddn’t that Dubya’s phrase? Clever. Who do we bring “out of the shadows cue eerie muzak” next? Thieves? Carjackers? Highway robbers? Zombies?? Democrats?!?!
...
The usual flag-as-clothing mistakes… Mostly Mexican flags—the US flags were [mostly] on sticks ‘n’ poles.
...
Though some came in ‘colorful native costumes.’ Pretty.
...
A few local gringo socialistas.... “Living Wage Coalition”
I never did figger out what this sign said—liked the un-happy face, tho. Muy dramatico. You’ll notice that the level of banner-carrying skills is low with this crowd. Muy low.
...
Here we have a drive-by-dancing in time to the ‘Sí se puede’ chant. Most of the folks driving by were honking in supposed support. I imagine anyone who actually knew about the march took another route.
...
Reconquistas heard from: “I didn’t cross the border; the border crossed me.” Funny… That person doesn’t look old enough to have been around in 1848. Must be the hot peppers.
...
There were a couple of “Today I march - Tomorrow I vote” signs, along with another couple along the lines of “There are 20 million of us and our children will vote.”
I’m just wondering how long someone hasta be here in this country before he realizes that wandering around in public wearing a bandito mask is, in itself, a hostile act…
....
Here’s a local Moonbat of the Middle-age Matronis variation carrying her oh-so-clever “Immigrant Hugger” sign. ho-de. ho. ho.
...
There were still lots of Mexican flags in evidence, though it seems danged near everyone got the white shirt memo. There were more US flags than Mexican and a coupla few I didn’t recognize or couldn’t make out.
...
Marchers passed 6-8 deep at an estimated rate of 100 people per minute for at least 20 minutes and we came upon the march somewhere after the front lines were out of sight. However, despite the shouting, chanting, drumming and horns, the audience on the other side of the street was somewhat more sparse.
...
This banner read “Legislators Why Don’t You Get A Real Job?” As you see, though the point is apt, the banner-carrying skills are somewhat wanting.
On the right of the shot is the sign most in evidence, a home-stenciled “No HR 4337” with what I take to be a stylized Mexican eagle on top/bottom. These ware mass-produced as mebbe one in every 10-15 people had one.
There was a smattering of Gringo Moonbats—maybe 20 that I saw—scattered widely in twos and threes. One lone older woman carried a pretty sign “Thank You for Our Food.” Apparently only the fella who picks the crop gets credit and to hell with the guy who puts it all on the line to buy the seed, worries over the weather, ensures the soil is in balance and the water reliable, fights off the Eco-Wackos, Planning Commissions and Eminent Domainers, organizes the harvest, markets the product and puts it all on the line all over again for the next year’s crop. Another lone fella on a bike had a hastily-made, brown cardboard sign with the reassuring message; “No War but Class War.” Keen.
Everyone marching was enthusiastic and well behaved. I saw not one rowdy group and everyone obeyed the March Matrons who were riding herd on the street side about one per block’s worth of marchers, clipboard in hand, shouting encouragement to chant and stopping the stream at lights. All the cops looked bored, which is grand.
Still and all, it made an impression to see that many people—people I meet on an every day basis and damn near always enjoy—walking along in an organized fashion demanding that my country stop being a country while staying strong enough to support them. Odd feeling, that.
As my parade companion pointed out, “Not one sign I’ve seen has any relationship to reality.”
...
When my Grandma was little, May Day meant you picked some pretty flowers and hung them in a basket on the doors of your friends, rang the bell and ran away. In my Mother’s day, they had May Day ribbon dancing around the May Pole at school to celebrate Spring and break up the monotony of a hard, midwestern winter.
...just sayin’

Today's RAAAAAACIST Post
as in: “gringos estupidos"

SAN DIEGO, Calif. The U.S. government is putting the brakes on bicyclists at the world’s busiest border crossing.
Border authorities have eliminated an informal bike lane at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, which links San Diego and Mexico. They say impatient travelers abused a policy giving cyclists express privileges at the border and began enforcing the new rule Sunday.
The bike policy was introduced months after the 9/11 attacks, when increased security created long waits at the border. Some 50,000 cars, and 25,000 pedestrians pass through the port daily.
Mexican vendors soon began renting bikes to travelers waiting in lines that could stretch up to a quarter-mile. For only a few bucks, pedestrians instantly qualified as cyclists, pushing bikes to the front of the line.
Once on American turf, they returned the bikes to men who pack them into vans or trucks and drive them back into Mexico.
...
“So what were you smuggling?”
“Bikes.”

Keeping track of the Hydra
Oy! to the left of me; Yikes! to the right of me
(WASHINGTON, DC, 4/30/2006) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today questioned why no representatives of major American Muslim groups are listed as speakers at the Save Darfur Coalition “Rally to Stop Genocide” this afternoon in Washington, D.C....
“It is unfortunate that the Save Darfur Coalition chose not to list any mainstream American Muslim groups in the rally program,” said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. “This disturbing omission calls into question the coalition’s true agenda at the rally.” ...
Awad also said that all too often, the conflict in Darfur is portrayed in racial and religious terms, with “Arabs” killing “black Africans.” He cited a recent article, “5 Truths About Darfur,” in which the Washington Post’s East Africa Bureau Chief Emily Wax pointed out that:
“1 Nearly everyone is Muslim,
2 Everyone is black,
3 It’s all about politics,
4 This conflict is international, and
5 The ‘genocide’ label made it worse."
uhmm.... didja fone up and offer?

Happy Commie Day!
whereupon the International Stalinistas demonstrate that Useful Fools never go out of style!
Starting off with a positive note:
The Federation for American Immigration Reform is organizing a news conference of Latinos who live in the United States legally and oppose an amnesty program for illegal immigrants.
The campaign, called “You Don’t Speak For Me,” includes some prominent Latinos, including Pete Nunez, former assistant Treasury secretary.
Spokeswoman Susan Wysocki said that many legal residents are concerned about the impact that illegal immigrants have on security, the economy and social-service systems.
Thus demonstrating that ‘Hispanics’ are not all dim children tantruming to demand someone else fix their boo-boo special consideration.
